We have a new member of the family coming around Dec. 10th, 2008. I am soooo happy! I've been praying for a new baby for about 2 years now, and we have been discussing it for about a year. We still weren't sure if this would be wise, with a week by week work situation. But, God decided that now would be good.... :-D
I have been a wee bit busy lately, with all this kitchen remodel, then a week later, baby news... :-) For some reason, my emotions are very wacky with this pregnancy. I am panicking about a crib. A crib????? the baby isn't even the size of a pencil eraser... I think that this is just SUPER DUPER EARLY nesting... not craziness right??
Anyway, sorry for the delay in posting. My brain was occupied with cribs.

Yes, we did use a crib with the other 2. They slept in a bassinet in the hall for the first bit, then when they were bigger, and sleeping better, we switched to the crib.
ReplyDeleteBut it broke pretty badly during the 1st ones infancy. We did use it for a bit for bb2 until she could stand up. Then I switched her to a pack n play... Oh the backaches... :-)
The old crib was a vintage 50's or 60's yard a sale fins, pretty, but at one point the entire front rail pushed away form the matters. Not good. We disposed of it.
We don't really have a lot of room in our bedroom , so somewhere safe and contained to sleep in brother or sisters room is a must for our new bb. The twin Bunkbeds we have are HIGH off the ground, enough to stick a big rubbermaid tote under, so too high for tiny legs, and the fall would be pretty high for a wee kiddo. :-)
